Cellbond is a leading global supplier of vehicle crash safety test equipment. Cellbond has designed, developed and manufactured deformable aluminium crash test barriers for use in automotive safety testing for over 35 years. We were granted the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2017 and 2022, and are proud of our long history of successful and ground-breaking collaborations with the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and automotive safety organisations. Cellbond works closely with safety experts including Euro NCAP, IIHS and NHTSA, and has a strong global presence so that our customers receive the best possible care and support.
In 2013, Cellbond began to introduce anthropomorphic test devices (known as ATDs or crash test dummies) to the range. We now manufacture and supply leg and head forms, Q-Series Child Crash Test Dummies, Thor 50th male dummy, Thor 5th female dummy, THOR-RS (reclined seating), WorldSID-50M, aPLI Legform, Flex-PLI Legform, Pedestrian Headforms, Ejection Mitigation Headforms, and the Free Motion Headform. Our full Crash Test Barrier range is available on licence as FE Models produced by ARUP and Altair, and we work closely with ATD-Models GmbH and Phitec Ingegneria who produce and supply FE Models of the Cellbond legforms and Q-Series dummies respectively.
